Congratulations to Heather Tweedle,
whose successes at club and international level were recognised at Sefton Sports Council's Achievements Awards for 2006,
where Heather was voted Female Sports Personality of the Year.
The event was staged at Southport's Floral Hall on 7th June.

Lauren Dixon (below left) won the girls Under 19 event, with Natasha Hendry the runner up.

Following on from her success in the National Squash Championships,
Heather Tweedle was selected to represent England in a Home International
Tournament held in Dublin over the weekend at the end of April.
We are proud to report that Heather won all three of her matches,
contributing greatly to the success of the team in winning the
tournament.

With the junior season drawing to an end, congratulations go to our Junior 1st & 2nd teams.
They have won and therefore successfully retained the 1st and 2nd Divisions respectively.
Remarkably this was achieved without losing a match.
