Junior Coaching.
Squash coaching for juniors is organised at Northern
under the guidance of qualified SRA coaches Alan Hendry (Level 4 / Professional),
Heather Tweedle (Level 2) and Val Delamere (Level 2).
Standard begins with entry-level fun coaching for the complete beginner,
and continues for older or more established junior players.

Beginners 1:45pm to 2:30pm
Intermediate 2:30pm to 3:30pm
More accomplished 3:30pm to 4:30pm.

Junior Squash Teams.
|
Northern runs four junior teams, more than any other club in Merseyside.
The 1st, 2nd and 3rd teams play league squash, while we also run an under 11 team for the developing junior stars for the future.

The Junior Squash Section.
The Northern Junior Squash Section is one of the premier outfits in the Merseyside area.
It currently comprises upwards of 70 members of all ages up to 18 years.
The success of the section is owed principally to the leadership and drive of our Professional Coach Alan Hendry. Within the Club he can draw upon the experience of four level two and four level one England Squash Coaches.
All standards are catered for, from beginners through to the more accomplished players. Each individual can be educated from the rudiments of the game through to match play standards.
The success of the Junior Squash Section can be measured against the standards and levels achieved by individuals themselves and our teams collectively.
Within the Club we can boast several boys and girls representing Merseyside County at Under 13 & under 15,
with youngsters then feeding into the senior teams.
Northern also organises annual junior club championships for our youngsters,
with competitions for boys and girls of all ages within our junior section.
