The Northern Club Hockey section will be hosting a 7-a-side Summer Tournament to be held at the end of July.


Date: Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th July 2013

Time: 5pm Saturday afternoon until late Sunday evening.

Entry Fee: £70 per team (cheques made payable to ‘The Northern Club Hockey Section’, please) – whole amount goes to the British Heart Foundation.

Pitch: Brand new sand-dressed pitch!

Venue: The Northern Club, Elm Avenue, Crosby, Liverpool, Merseyside, L23 2SX

Camping: Available for the night of Saturday 27th July (at the Northern Club). Changing/showering/WC facilities on site.

Refreshments: The bar will be open early/BBQ*/Breakfasts on Sunday

Rules: 7-a-side (1 GK + 6 outfield), separate men’s and women’s competitions (further details to be confirmed nearer the time). Fancy dress heavily encouraged!

Closing Date: All registration forms must be returned with payment no later than Saturday 6th July 2013.

Junior Develpment Centre Hockey Coaching

The Lancashire South Junior Development Centre (JDC) coaching sessions will be held at Litherland Sports park, Boundary Road, Litherland, L21 7LA.

The next session would be held this coming sunday and if you are interested please contact Andy Halpin.

Attention all boys and girls aged 11 - 17.

England Hockeys Junior Development Centre (JDC) starts this weekend. All boys and girls aged 11 - 17 are welcome.

The times and dates are below and all sessions are at Litherland.

Please make every effort to attend.

Under 17s - Year of Birth 1996 - 10 - 12
Under 16s - Year of Birth 1997 - 10 - 12
Under 15s - Year of Birth 1998 - 12 - 14.00
Under 14s - Year of Birth 1999 - 14.00 - 16.00
Under 13s - Year of Birth 2000 - 14.00 - 16.00

If you cannot make it this week do not worry there are 4 more sessions on:

Sunday 14 October, Sunday 28 October, Sunday 4 November and Sunday 2 December at the same times.

Please try and attend as many of these sessions as possible, as it will give you the best possible chance of getting through to the next stage and representing your County.
