I am sad to report that Karen and Nessa have given notice of their intention to leave the Club at the end of this year.

After seven years of long and unsociable hours, I fully understand their reasons, as much as I regret their decision. I trust that you will join me in thanking them for their contribution to the Club, for the many excellent functions that we have enjoyed in that time, and in wishing them the very best for a happy and less stressful future.

I am especially grateful to them for the support that they have given me during this particular summer, and in the timing of their decision that will facilitate an orderly handover after the year-end festivities.

Having learned of Karen's and Nessa's intentions last evening, the Club's officers are in the earliest stages of planning for a solution to our future catering needs. We would welcome the thoughts and suggestions of members (by note, email or chat).
