Saturday 19th August. Lucky numbers this week were 2,5,9,10,12,14. Very low entry due to lousy weather and no cricket, so Dave Harrison's 5 winning numbers net £6. Jackpot for next week rises to *** THE BIG ONE *** £1000.

Saturday 1st July. The winning numbers, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 & 13, were drawn by Miss Kimberly Davies of New Brighton CC. There were no winners of the Jackpot and no five number winners, so the Rollover Jackpot for the 8th July draw has now risen to £600.

The Northern Club Weekly Numbers Draw is a fund raising initiative with two main aims:
  • To provide an affordable fun game for all (over 16!) with a Jackpot prize that is WORTH WINNING!
  • To raise funds for investment in junior Sports Development for our younger Club members.
Any funds raised from 'the game' will be invested in a variety of ways to help support the provision of high quality coaching and coaching aids for Junior Cricket, Hockey, Squash and Bowls members. Here are just a few of the ways we intend to invest any game proceeds:
  • Running Coaching courses in all sports to improve the quality and number of coaches available at The Northern Club Junior equipment, team kits and coaching aids
  • Running Coaching Camps during school holidays, which will be opened up to non members as well, further strengthening our Community sports ties Investment in audio visual equipment to provide personalised video feedback for advanced coaching courses
  • Organising junior team competitions both 'inhouse' and with other Clubs and Schools in the local area.
Some of the above are well underway, others need additional funding and a lot of volunteer goodwill and time to make them happen. In these days of ever increasing operational costs, fund raising initiatives such as this, are an essential part of funding our Clubs' Sporting progress and particularly helping us to deliver our overriding strategic aim of 'growing our own' high quality sports players of the future.
Congratulations to our WINNERS so far and thank you to all who have 'had a go'. We thank you all in advance for your continued support and good luck in The Northern Club Weekly Numbers Draw.
