The Northern Club Marquee Week - Sporting Celebrity Dinner Thursday 21^st June 2007

It’s that time of year again! The Northern Club’s Marquee Week Sporting Celebrity Dinner will soon be upon us. We are delighted to announce that this years sporting celebrity after dinner speakers will be that well known ‘scouse’ double act of Peter Reid (ex Everton & England) and Jan Molby (ex Liverpool & Denmark). Our funny bones could be in for a real treat as our guests regale us with many tales of their on pitch clashes and off pitch shenanigans, as well as there views on the modern day game. If last year’s magnificent feast was anything to go by, it will not only be our sense of humour that’ll be in for a treat, our taste buds are sure to have a great time as well. Following last year’s success we will be adopting a similar format with starter, main course, continental and English cheese board, fresh fruit and a bottle of port per table, finishing with coffee and mints. Following the after dinner speeches there will be our fundraising raffle and auction, in aid of junior sports development. Any raffle or auction prizes you or your Company would like to donate will also be most gratefully received, of course the donators name will be announced on award of the prize

Tables of ten (10) are available at a price of £400 inc. VAT, there will be a few tables of twelve (12) also available at £480 inc. VAT. Dress code is lounge suits.

We have made junior sports development a cornerstone of the Club’s values, our facilities and coaches benefit over 2000 youngsters in the local area every year. More than any other event in our fundraising social calendar, the Marquee Sporting Celebrity Dinner has been firmly established as a great favourite with our Corporate Sponsors and supporters. Please see the enclosed opportunities for sponsorship, your chance to invest in the promotion of your Company and support junior sport development in the local community.
