The men's gallant cup run came to an end at Moor Park, going down 4-2 to Southport, currently four divisions higher in league status.
Trailing 3-0 at half time, Northern fought back to 3-2 with goals from Anthony Symondson and Adam Batty, only to concede a late 'killer' goal to end a great cup run.

The Southport defence comes under pressure (top) as Northern mount their comeback. Anthony Symondson (above middle) thunders home Northern's first goal.
