Question: What do I need to do to join the Northern Club?
Answer:

First of all you need to fill in one of our membership application forms.

If you are interested in joining us, but do not know an existing member who is able to introduce you to the club, then please contact us directly. We will be happy to meet you and to show you around.

You can write to the Membership Secretary at the club postal address or e-mail to the club website e-address (click Contct Us for contact details). If you are interested in a particular sport, please indicate this, so that a representative of the relevant section can contact you.

We offer top quality sporting facilities in hockey, cricket, squash and bowls. For the social member, the club provides a wonderful backdrop through long summer days, and a cosy retreat during the winter months.

Our membership subscription is due annually, and we believe constitutes good value for the amenities that we enjoy. Younger members benefit from generously discounted rates.
Question: How much will it cost me to join the Northern Club?
Answer:

That will depend on your age (if you are an Adult, Student or Junior), if you just want to be a House member only or wish to be a member of one or more of the club's sporting sections (Bowls, Cricket,Hockey and/or Squash & Racketball).

Question: What sports are played at the Northern Club?
Answer:

There are four different sporting sections at the Northern Club

Bowls

Cricket

Hockey

Squash & Racketball

All four sporting sections have teams which compete in County leagues and offer Junior coaching.

We also have a snooker/billards room which is available for use by our members but we do not have any competitive teams is this sport at the moment.
