Welcome to Crosby Scout and Guide Marina Club, a Crosby sailing club with kayaking and dinghy sailing,
based at the Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre, our new sailing and water sports centre at Crosby Marina,
in Waterloo near Liverpool on north Merseyside.
The Marina, a man-made Marina of some 78 acres (24 hectares), is bounded by the Mersey Estuary to the west,
Liverpool Freeport and Seaforth Nature Reserve to the South,
and a predominately residential area of Waterloo to the east.
It is separated from the River Mersey by a sea wall which is topped by a promenade
overlooking the long, sandy Crosby beach.
The marina was constructed on reclaimed land when the adjacent Seaforth Freeport container base was built.
Crosby Scout and Guide Marina Club is a Crosby sailing club offering opportunities to sail to Sefton children
(not just scouts and guides) to sail a Dinghy or Kayak.
Crosby Lakeside Adventure Centre is Sefton's newly rebuilt sailing and water sports centre,
a marine lake providing RYA marine sports,
dinghy sailing and kayaking, and water leisure activities,
located at Crosby Marina, Cambridge Road, Waterloo, Liverpool, Merseyside L22 1RR
