Liverpool Comp Cricket at Northern image The Northern club has excellent playing facilities including a total of 3 pitches and 2 pavilions, all located on the same complex in Crosby, in the Sefton area of Merseyside. The main pitch is also used by Lancashire for Lancs second team and for various representative matches, as a top venue for cricket in Liverpool district.

In recent seasons, our 1st team have been ECB Premier League champions in 2005 and 2013, reached the ECB National Club Twenty20 final at Edgbaston in 2012, and among other cup successes won the LCB Lancashire Knockout at Old Trafford in 2013.

We field a total of 5 league teams playing Liverpool Competition cricket on a Saturday, and a Sunday team playing friendly fixtures. In addition, there are Sunday cup fixtures for the first, second and third teams, plus a strong junior cricket section. New recruits are always welcome.

The cricket section organizes social events during the season and close-season, and enjoys excellent bar and catering facilities. We are well supported on match days by other club members, and are also grateful for the support of our main shirt sponsor Tom Tully and of our many other sponsors.

Northern holds ECB and Sport England Cricket Clubmark accreditation status.
