The Northern Club Bowls Sections have 2 excellent crown greens.
The Northern Classic Tournament, one of the top national events in the crown green bowling calendar,
is held annually at our picturesque club at Crosby, in the Sefton area of Merseyside, to the north of Liverpool.

The Men's Section has 9 teams (plus 1 mixed) entered in 5 leagues : Formby & District, Maghull & District, Westhead, Bootle OAP,
and the Aughton & District Men's Senior Citizens Bowling (over 60s) leagues. New members are always welcome.
The Ladies' Section has 2 teams in the Civil Defence League and 1 in the Westhead League.
However, not everyone wishes to play league bowls and friendly matches are arranged with other Ladies clubs in the area.
Tuesday night is the main evening for social bowling and new members are warmly welcomed.
For younger bowlers and newcomers, Northern operates its “School of Excellence",
backed by the British Crown Green Bowling Association,
for juniors between the ages of 9 and 16.

The Northern Bowls Section holds “Active Club Award” accreditation, through Sefton Sports Council,
as a safe and child friendly crown green bowling club.
